Robotticelli was intended to be an architectural-scale mural painting robot. The design consists of 2 winches mounted on the upper corners of a building to suspend a central painting robot. This robot holds up to 4 spray paint cans and moves along the wall face to make Pointillism paintings.
While the mechanical portion of the project came along pretty nicely, other team members got busy as summer came. I'm not sure about the current state of Robotticelli, but we got to present at SXSW which was pretty neat :)
