I help mentor the Los Alamos FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) robotics team. FTC is a program designed to teach leadership and STEM skills to younger generations. Teams across the world build custom robots to compete in a dynamic game that changes every year.
Our local team mainly consists of middle schoolers, but most of the competition is in high school. Even with this age gap, the Los Alamos Alpha Hawks often rank highly in their home state of New Mexico.
